About Us

We are Jon and Anna, and our earliest adventures started out in Scouting and Guiding. We both spent many years volunteering at an outdoor centre in our late-teens and early-twenties, before having to concentrate on real jobs. 

Jon moved from volunteering to paid work as an outdoors Instructor, at outdoor centres, with a focus on skills in sailing, canoeing and climbing. This passion and experience led to a career in the outdoor industry working with a large clothing manufacturer for 20 years.

It was alongside this long-stint that Jon discovered a love for adventure travel. In 2015, Jon planned a trip and led a group of friends across the Pyrenees to the Land Rover Party. The success of that first trip had him hooked and he started planning the next trip. Not long after a second great trip to the Pyrenees, Jon realised that taking a group to remote places was great fun and he could do this professionally, so he set off on a journey with BORDA (British Off Road Driving Association) to obtain qualifications and more experience to coach others in an industry recognised way.

Jon has always enjoyed coaching others, and sharing knowledge, to help them discover new activities, have adventures outdoors, and make amazing memories.

Anna took a different path and has built a career working in Payroll management, whilst having adventures in her spare time. In addition to driving a 4x4 to locations that her work colleagues don't think is possible, she enjoys camping, shooting, and a variety of other target sports such as axe-throwing and archery.

All this office experience means that Anna is responsible for managing the day-to-day things like invoicing, emails, and keeping things (and Jon) organised. She also keeps notes and takes lots of photos!
